The data for some companies seems to be out of date. Why is this so?

If the data in the Scenario Analysis or the Company Charts seems to be out of date, it is usually one of the following reasons:

(1) The most usual reason is that the company has not released its final reports for the financial year.

In the USA in some cases, the company may have released its annual report but the data in the report is incomplete. In this case, our data supplier will wait until the company has submitted its 10K (10-K) report to the SEC and then will extract the appropriate data from it.

Once the data is available from the company, 80% is entered into our database on the same day, with the remainder being entered within 24 hours.

(2) The second reason is that the connection has been lost to our databases. This could be a temporary loss of internet connection and it is simply a matter of trying again later. Or it could be a firewall problem and the settings in the firewall need to be adjusted. In either case, you may have got a message box asking:

"Do you wish to update full data from a previous download?"

The appearance of this question indicates that this question has been lost or is being blocked. You could search on the term "firewall" in this Knowledge Base for more information.
